A community art project for for the elderly, including those living with a dementia, with the aim to help reduce loneliness and social isolation.
The group meets every 2 weeks for a 2-hour session in my GALLERY. Each session has a different theme e.g. in January we did Picasso portraits. The idea of all of our groups is to encourage community cohesion so people feel part of it and not socially isolated.
It also gives valuable respite to carers, who can take the opportunity to use our quiet room to relax and have a cup of tea or go for a stroll along the seafront.
No booking required, just come along and enjoy a cuppa!
DATES – Tuesday 14th November, 10am to midday in my GALLERY.
